Site visits during construction are crucial to assure a quality project. We make frequent trips to the site to assure that the features are properly shaped and blended into the landscape. We insist that the contractor build the course to the topmost standards.
Design Process:
Preliminary Plans / Master Plans: We create golf courses by thoroughly exploring different schemes and possibilities with the routing, and developing a variety of preliminary plans before concluding with a Final Master Plan.
Plans and Specifications: Once the Master Plan is developed we produce detailed Construction Drawings and Specifications.
Cost Estimate: We also develop a detailed Cost Estimate and constantly monitor the elements of construction to insure that the project finishes within the allotted parameters.
Site Supervision: During construction we are “hands-on”, working closely with the shapers and contractor with close attention to details. We personally finish the final greens contour insuring the playing characteristics desired.
Remodeling / Renovation:
Renovation or Remodeling involves the added responsibility of reviewing the existing course objectively and keeping or enhancing the original design. At times dramatic changes and improvements are needed and we explore all options, thinking “outside the box” at times to dramatically improve the golf facility. Each renovation goes through the same steps of the Design Process.
